STILL PHOTOS is a World War II era love story – between two women. It poses the question, “Is all fair in love at war?”
STILL PHOTOS follows the story of Charlie, a zealous supporter of the war effort, and Aubra, a secluded opera diva. While their men are away fighting Hitler and Mussolini, the two daring women find love and comfort in each other’s arms. Decades later, Charlie's granddaughter uncovers an attic of memories and a multitude of questions. Could a love so fiery survive peacetime? Is all fair in love at war?
Vanda’s STILL PHOTOS is the winner of Curve Magazine’s 2006 Lesbian Theatre Award and Celebration Theatre’s 2007 New Play Contest.
Featuring:
