Géraldine Dulex

Originally from Switzerland, Géraldine came to Chicago to study theatre at Northwestern University. After graduation, Géraldine found her creative home at Chicago’s Trap Door Theatre, where she has been a proud company member for the past six years.
Géraldine was last seen in Overweight, unimportant: Misshape directed by Yasen Peyankov, which received mention in Chicago Reader’s “Our Favorite Theater 2011.” Other Trap Door credits include Minna in Minna, as well as First Ladies, The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant (3 After Dark Awards), 12 Ophelias, Emma (After Dark Award) and other productions.
Géraldine continues to be involved with Strings Attached, her theatre company in Switzerland, and her favorite Chicago credits include: Steppenwolf, Eclipse, Fox Valley, Theatre-Hikes, Prop and The Mime Company. She is also a recipient of an artist grant from Canton Zug, Switzerland, for her one-woman show Fawn, which premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008.
She is thrilled to be back on the Trap Door stage in Artist 13’s world premiere of Smartphones directed by Emilio Williams this summer, and then in The Arsonists by legendary Swiss playwright Max Frisch and directed by French visiting director Victor Quezada-Perez this fall.
