Tim Baron
Resident Videographer
Tim has been the resident videographer for Trap Door Theatre for the past five years, having recorded each of their productions since The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant. He is honored to have had the opportunity to support the work of so many talented artists and to chronicle the evolution of one of Chicago’s finest and most unique theaters.
In addition to his work with Trap Door, Tim has edited two feature films, several short documentaries, music videos, and filmed many other live performances around Chicago at venues including A Red Orchid Theatre, Prop Theatre, the Green Mill, and the Metro. He is currently the Director of Photography and Editor for the web series Fear No ART, and is a technical advisor and Director of Photography for a monthly live show/broadcast, The Dinner Party, at the Mayne Stage, premiering in January, 2012.
His is also deeply indebted to the Trap Door Theatre for introducing him to the love of his life, Jeni.
