How to Find Us
Trap Door can be a bit of a hidden gem—literally. Once you’re in the area, don’t worry if you don’t spot us right away. Look for the black-and-white sandwich board that reads “Trap Door Theatre This Way.” Follow the arrow down the gangway lit by colorful string lights. At the end, you’ll see our entrance door with a glowing Trap Door Theatre sign.
Step inside the small foyer and look directly ahead for the door marked with our logo—that’s the entrance to the theatre itself.

Parking Nearby
1655 W. Cortland St is one block south of Armitage and two blocks west of Ashland.
There is paid street parking directly in front of the theatre on Cortland St.
You can also find free parking a bit farther down Cortland, near St. Mary’s of the Angels church, as well as on N. Hermitage Ave.
